Statement - released 13th May 2015

As a result of a Special Meeting, called by the officers and committee of Belfast Dog Show Society, in August ’13, for the purpose of expelling from the society Mrs Alexa Brown for the misappropriation of the telephone account, the membership voted to ban Mrs Brown from membership and attending any club events for a period of 10 years. The committee was also directed by the membership, to attempt to retrieve said funds. Legal advice was sought by the officers and committee, resulting in the case in the Small Claims Court on 29th April 2015, Belfast Dog Show Society v Mrs A Brown, which finally saw settlement under terms of which remain confidential.
